Duties and responsibilities
Clinical managers oversee a specific department, like
nursing, surgery, or physical therapy. They have responsibilities based on that
specialty. They set and carry out
policies, goals, and procedures for their departments. They evaluate the
quality of the staff’s work, develop reports and make budgets.

that the facility complies with them

Manage finances, such as patient fees and
billing

Educational Requirements
The clinical managers have at least a bachelor’s degree
before entering the field. Some have master’s degree, though the requirements
vary by the facility. A Master’s degree
in health services, long-term care administration, public health, or etc. is
also common.
