Pharmacist
Duties and Responsibilities:
A pharmacist prepares prescription written by physicians, dentists, and other practitioners. They review the prescriptions and then prepare the medication. This involves weighing, measuring, and mixing drugs.  When the compounds are prepared the pharmacist can then dispense them to the customers. They answer questions that the patients have about the drugs that are being taken in. In some cases the pharmacist are responsible for inventory of the drugs on the shelves and the ordering of any drug that they are running low on. They work in hospitals, clinics, health departments, universities, grocery, drug, and the discount stores. The ones who work in the stores must be careful of the other health supplies that are available in the store that way they do not direct customers in the wrong direction.
Salary: $33,000-$51,000
Student should take the most challenging high school classes available in math science and English. They must graduate from a college of pharmacy. Most pharmacies require taking the Pharmacy College Admission Test.
